Bianca Sommerland was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. When not reading neurotically or writing as though the fate of the world rests on her keyboard, she is either watching hockey or teaching her daughters the beauty of a classic, steel pony while reminiscing about her days in Auto Body Mechanics. Her time is balanced with utmost care between normal family life, and the internal paranormal realm where her characters reside. For the most part, she succeeds.

Good but left me wanting more for the MCs

I was soooo excited for this book. I mean, it's Dominik! He deserves an HEA more than anyone in the series! (Maybe not but his HEA was LONG overdue). Unfortunately, it fell ... flat. It felt as if Dom and Sahara were the side characters in their own story. We got tastes of everyone else and deeper stories on other couples than we got of the supposed main characters of the book.
Add to that the fact that it felt like I got whiplash from Dom and Sahara for a good 70% of the book and the very abrupt ending and it left me with a very unsatisfying experience. I just wanted more of Dom and Sahara. I wanted the relationship build up we got with the previous couples. I felt like Dom deserved that and he got shafted just a tiny bit.
I'm in no way disappointed that I spent time on this book, this is one of my favorite series and I've reread the first 6 books. This is one of my top recommended series actually. Heck, I spent $60 on paperback versions to go along with the ebook versions! This just happened to be my second least favorite of the series and I never thought that would happen for Dom because I love him so much.
I hope Pischlar's book is back to the caliber of the previous books of the series and the focus is more centered on him and his HEA with only small doses of the other couples.

Exceptional read! Full of passion, intensity, and tons of sensual moments.

It's pretty rare to find a series where book after book never disappoints, never fails to capture my attention and bring me to tears. The Dartmouth Cobras is not only one of these exceptional occurrences, it's also a series that transports me to another place, a place of no worries, no regrets - a place full of passion, intensity, and longing. The outside world does not exist when I immerse myself into these stories.
I find myself falling head over heels for these amazing characters that Sommerland brings to life on such an amazing level. Dominik Mason is one of those characters. Fans of the series have been waiting ever so patiently for this incredible man's happily ever after. For the past couple of years, he has been surrounded by darkness, not really knowing who he is, or what kind of man he wants to be. He pines for woman and a relationship he can no longer have. He craves someone of his own, someone he can claim - mind, body, and soul. He ends up finding his light in a friend. Sahara Dionne is the woman who brings our boy back to life. With the intense connection between these two there is no time for walls to build up around their hearts. Together they test their limits, build trust, and learn that happiness IS possible.
Thank you Ms. Sommerland for giving our boy the HEA he deserves.

I’ve read the first part of this series and loved it. It just hit every button I didn’t even know I had. LOL This book is no exception because I have wondered what would happen with Dominik. I love the hockey thrown in because it just makes all the guys hotter to me personally. Who doesn’t like an athletic guy who also happens to be a Dom? Not this girl!
There is so much intertwining of the previous books that it would probably be hard for someone to read this book if they hadn’t read the other books first. This is not a hardship as all of the books in this series are pretty dang good in my opinion.
Dominik says he isn't looking for a relationship or a submissive but I think differently. Sahara just got out of a abusive relationship and the guy makes an appearance in this book which leads to more issues even though she is willing to forgive him. I love the interaction of these two characters and how the books turns out in the end. I will definitely be reading the next book if there is one!
