I died on January 18, 1989. Paramedics reached the scene of the accident within minutes. They found no pulse and declared me dead. They covered me with a tarp so that onlookers wouldn't stare at me while they attended to the injuries of others. I was completely unaware of the paramedics or anyone else around me.
Immediately after I died, I went straight to heaven. While I was in heaven, a Baptist preacher came on the accident scene. Even though he knew I was dead, he rushed to my lifeless body and prayed for me. Despite the scoffing of the Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), he refused to stop praying. At least ninety minutes after the EMTs pronounced me dead, God answered the man's prayers. I returned to earth.

Pain and suffering?

I wish I could sue the author for MY pain and suffering! He has a horrible accident and senses, for a moment, a very peaceful place beyond this life, and from there it's all downhill. Seventeen chapters - not pages, but chapters - relentlessly describing his condition and his slow recovery - over and over again. All poorly written, very repetitious, and self pitying. It should be called "90 Seconds in Heaven, 90 Months of Recovery....Explained". Very strange that most people who have gone through such physical and emotional trauma come through it all being more humble and guarded. Never would you imagine one being boastful after such an ordeal. No wonder it took so long to write the book (or have it written) - it must have taken a lot of nerve. Now he has to die all over again with the shame of knowing that he allowed this to be published.

What a great testimony! It's sad to read other comments and see that some people are more focused on criticizing the book and being disappointed saying "Not much about his NDE". This book is another testimony that Heaven is Real. Imagine having an experience in Heaven for a minute then you come back to life and after telling your friend about it, he asks:" That's it? You only been there for a minute?" People are missing the essence. Thank you for having the courage to write a book about your NDE!

Interesting and hard to put down

I have never considered any of the visit to heaven and back stories as authentic. But this one is different. Very different. Because of the way it is written and documented, this is one that I believe. It's a good read. You won't be sorry if you buy it.
