Misleading

I was misled by the review and description of this book, it is not stories but organ music for an instrument I don't even own. Even if I did own it, I would like to know what I am getting beforehand. I was looking for the writings of John Lennon, and received this instead. So if you want the music for an electric keyboard organ thingie, by all means get it, but if you're looking for writings, keep looking.

Misleading review

I was highly misled by the review that is listed for this "book". I expected to receive a story by John Lennon. Instead, I received a song book for organ, piano, and keyboard, and I'm highly disappointed that I spent my money on it. Granted, it's a perfect book for someone who WANTS a "songbook". Needless to say, I didn't. The person who reviewed this book was definitely misleading in every sense of the word.

Okay for Beginners

I purchased this SONG BOOK recently (THIS IS NOT A BIOGRAPHY OR WRITTEN WORDS BY JOHN LENNON, THIS BOOK IS FOR PIANO/GUITAR(chords only, no tabs)VOCALS!!!) This book is definetly made for begginers and is not in the original key. Each note in the melody is labeled it's letter (C,C,C,B,E, etc.). The hardest the chords get is B flat or C7. Even then they put the C7 above the C in smaller print as an "Option". There is no bass lines, it is in large print. It's fun to play around with though, and I haven't discovered any mistakes.

The Royal Air Force and her Commonwealth allies were thrust into war in 1939 with an ill-equipped structure of aircrew and aircraft. There had been pre-war plans in place to formally train 'air gunners', but these only materialized after the realization that air gunners were required in significant numbers. The Second World War saw a remarkable recognition of the role undertaken by these exceptional young men, all of whom volunteered for service. Many later climbed into small cramped and isolated Perspex turrets that were perched at the extremity of Whitley, Wellington, Lancaster and Halifax bombers. Glorious in Solitude explores stories of these 'rear gunners' taken primarily from flying logbooks and recommendations for gallant action. These brave young men were totally exposed, removed from their crew and charged with providing the ultimate protection from marauding Luftwaffe night fighters: they experienced dangers unique to their chosen trade. Glorious in Solitude also explores the historical aspects of equipment, uniform and the medals awarded to rear gunners. A fitting tribute to those men who endured such isolated hardship and to those who lost their lives in solitude.

About the Author
Colin Pateman lives in the South of England and has spent most of his working life as a Police Officer, retiring after 32 years' service. His key roles were as a handler of specialist search dogs and as a Police Search Advisor. He was trained by the Royal Engineers and was involved in many serious criminal investigations. Colin is an avid collector of aviation memorabilia and gains great satisfaction from gathering and preserving personal accounts of pilots and aircrews of the Second World War. His other aviation related publications include 'Airborne Animals & Cockpit companions' (Woodfield 2011)'Goldfish Caterpillars and Guinea pigs', 'Unwanted Hero' (Fonthill 2012) and 'Unshackled Spirit' (Fonthill 2013)

A Wonderful Read

I very much enjoyed this book which outlines the fear and courage of these remarkable men who often sat alone, cold and always facing backwards peering for hours into the darkness from which death could, and did, come at any minute. In the dark days of the early 1940s, their operational life expectancy was as low as three weeks at one stage but they went up night after night against impossible odds without wavering. I think the author has captured many relevant details and stories and I hope there's a follow up edition which expands on the lives of these courageous individuals before their achievements fade into history.

New hobbies

When I have some time I like to use it to do something tangible. But since I’ve had a lot of time on my hands I ran out of things I can do on my own. So I’ve been looking for new things to put my free time to good use. Crocheting is great because at the end you have some things you can actually use and they make great gifts. It is no easy thing to do, trust me, but with a lot of patience and practice you are sure to grasp it. The author covers everything in these books, from the needles to how you handle the needles, to different patterns you can use to make clothing items. I think this is going to be a new hobby.

It's perhaps not for the beginners only, the experienced also can take help from it. This book mostly contains lines of handy instructions for persons who already know something about crochet and knit as well. This books provided guidelines for different kinds of knit stuff.
I found really decent designs in this book. I would certainly choose different tinted tales for several of the patterns presented by the author. I am a like a student in this section so I am not certain how informal these will be for me. But one thing is for sure I will get better after some practice.

We give our two cents (or is that 420 sense?) on all of life's non-problems from party etiquette, problems in the workplace, what religion to be, to whether or not your boyfriend/girlfriend/parent/friend/teacher/pet is gay.

At this point, we want to get higher, and take things to the next level. We've already gotten inside people's heads-now we want to get in their pants. With an audiobook, pervert.

Entertaining

If you have watched Tracie and Rich's video series, Pot Psychology, you will enjoy the style of the writing and find the book to be entertaining. If you have not watched the video's I'd google them (or go to jezebel.com and search directly on there) watch a few if you find them funny you will like the book if you don't you will probably hate it. It's not the best book in the world by any means, I mean clearly they haven't written 2012's version of war and peace but if you have a long commute/flight or whatever it will help pass the time pretty quickly with a few giggles as well.
